Wheeling has a variety of groups interested in preserving local history - see the [/Historical%20Organizations list] - but no common calendar of their activities. I often learn of a talk or event by reading about it in the newspaper the day after it occurs!

The South Wheeling Preservation Alliance will have its monthly public meeting on Tuesday May 26th at 7:15pm, discussion will take place at Trinity Lutheran Church, 3536 Eoff St, behind Kepner Funeral Home.
David McKinley will discuss the story of Northwood Glass, as a descendant of its founder Harry C. Northwood.
