Henry List built this house for his daughter, Jessie, wife of prominent Wheeling banker and investment broker, Edward Hazlett, in 1893. The house combines the Romanesque and Queen Anne styles, including a heagonal tower and steep, curved roofs. From 2002 VOTA Christmas in Victorian Old Town pamphlet.
