Wheeling Creek Bridge
Another old engraving offered on eBay without documentation. Fetherling (1983) says this bridge was built in 1832-3 to replace one built in 1817 that had been destroyed by ice. Was this bridge in the same location as the Street Bridge Main Street Bridge built in 1891-2? Is this view looking from the north side of the creek, up to Chapline Hill Road?
