Lang-Hess House

1625 Wood Street (formerly Zane St.). c. 1865.
Interesting and elegant old house at the corner of 17th and Wood streets. Built by Andrew J. Lang who was the mason for the footings of the suspension bridge. His house was built from the "leftovers" of stones from the bridge.
