Chapel from 1948 booklet, Mount de Chantal Centenary.
School started in downtown Wheeling in 1848. Present building constructed in 1865 (moving 3 miles from Wheeling and all the soldiers based there). Architect Charles F. Barthberger of Pittsburgh.
