One of the most remarkable examples of an ornate red brick building. Here the backside is seen from the east speeding towards Moundsville on Highway 250.

This was one of the largest of about 100 breweries is Wheeling around the turn of the 20th century, but all went out of business with the passage of a WV prohibition law in 1914. [/References Pavilack and Fluty (1990)]
